Eclipse

Eclipse

In my area, the great eclipse of 2017 was only a partial eclipse, but still a wonderful event.

This photo was taken through a 6" Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope (1500mm, f/10). I stitched two exposures to get this image as my cropped-sensor camera couldn't quite fit the entire sun into the frame.

I did take a few more exposures later in the eclipse, but I like this one as the sunspots are still visible.

Also, this is the one-hundreth photo in this blog.
