Once upon a time, I worked in a cinema. One of the projectionists decided to start holding direct application film festivals.
Using bits of extra film such as old trailers, we'd manipulate the film itself by bleaching layers of emulsion off, scratching designs into frames, and so on.
Here are bits of one of my entries. Anybody have a spare 35mm cinema projector handy?
